3 Rivers Food Coop is governed by an elected Board of Directors. A total of nine owners comprise the board and open seats are voted on by the member owners each October. They meet regularly and report, along with the General Manager, on the state of the coop at the Annual Meeting of owners every autumn. The Board also offers news in our monthly newsletter, Currents. The Board operates using policy governance methods by which they create and monitor policies given to the General Manager to interpret and implement. Board members are volunteers and, like all volunteers, receive 10% off all purchases.
